I was on an exploratory journey when I decided to create a Graphic Novel. The process began by reading the book"The Ocean of the End Of The Lane", then reading it a multiple times and then getting obsessed over the writer Neil Gaiman. 

I took it up very much like the process that I use when I am trying to come up with concepts for a Branding project. I studied other works from the same writer, studied the works of his contemporaries, delved into concept art and later on colours.

The best part was when I had to create my own reference images for sketching which involved clicking pictures from the point of view of the protagonist. 

I absolutely loved working on this project and I thought I would journal my process for anyone who wants to explore the world of story telling.
