It was during my summer vacation and I had just finished reading the book; "The Tides of Memory" by Sidney Sheldon. I felt like the original cover design for the book didn't do any justice to the story and decided to redesign it.

The lead character in the book constantly feels haunted by her dark past. She feels like she's losing herself and  that she will drown in the sins she committed as a young girl.

This was the key theme running through the book and I decided to illustrate the same. A hand drawn version was done first which was later digitalised.
